All electronic items are subject to sudden complications that may arise during testing or repairs. Customers are asked to consider such unexpected events as a natural part of the repair, diagnostic or routine maintenance processes which unfortunately are totally out of human control. As far as humanly possible we can guarantee the best possible services, but as has happened many times in the past, even a simple cleaning can lead to a device no longer working for no one knows what specific reason when the object is under our care. The blame for this cannot therefore be attributed to us at RVNR

Terms and Conditions Repair Services


The devices given to RVNR are always analyzed in every part through every kind of examination, worked in every part that will be judged essential or modified electro-mechanically to restore correct functioning of the same


  1. RVNR's responsibility relates exclusively to the treated parts of the device that require assistance/replacement;

  2. The parts replaced by RVNR can be new, OEM or of equal quality, remanufactured or of any other nature, depending on the repair need and availability at the time;

  3. The parts replaced that are faulty or used by RVNR are disposed of by the laboratory and the applicant waives the right to collect them;

  4. The RVNR guarantee provided post-intervention does not include any short circuits and/or electromechanical damage of any nature caused by devices coming into contact with liquids, humidity, shocks of any kind and of any intensity, defective and/or damaged batteries, general neglect of the device occurring after the repair, electric shocks due to lightning or storms;

  5. In the case of devices with seriously damaged parts, which are dangerous for the physical safety of people (e.g. damaged batteries, broken and sharp protective glass, etc. etc.), RVNR is authorized to dispose of them and/or replace them independently without asking customers for consent;​

  6. Any guarantees still valid with the original manufacturer or reseller of the device may become invalid following the requested intervention;
  7. Any further problems that may be encountered, unrelated to those for which the device requires assistance and which arise after the intervention, cannot be attributed to RVNR;

  8. The device given for assistance may be photographed and/or digitally cataloged (video), purely for analysis and demonstration purposes, both before, during and after the RVNR intervention. The cataloged images may be used by RVNR by way of example, in any context (including legal) and on any means of dissemination;

  9. The data contained in the device can be lost due to accidental causes during repairs, and responsibility for this cannot be attributed to RVNR;

  10. The warranty provided by RVNR on repaired devices contains the following points:

    1. Components not subject to wear and tear: for these components the warranty is valid for 3 (three) months, unless otherwise specified, starting from the date shown on the repair receipt delivered at the end of the work. The guarantee is valid for the period mentioned above as long as the applied guarantee seal remains intact. Any form of tampering immediately voids the guarantee which, consequently, can no longer be redeemed.
    2. Components subject to wear and tear: for these components the warranty is valid for 1 (one) months, unless otherwise specified, starting from the date indicated in the repair receipt delivered at the end of the work. The guarantee is valid for the period mentioned above as long as the applied guarantee seal remains intact. Any form of tampering immediately voids the guarantee which, consequently, can no longer be redeemed.

  11. RVNR does not issue a guarantee for repairs with components supplied by customers, unless otherwise specified;

  12. During the technical analysis and after adequate tests, it is possible that RVNR unilaterally modifies the input card of the mentioned device, updating the malfunctions in accordance with the problems encountered in the laboratory, also updating the final repair cost regardless of the estimate. In this case, RVNR will inform the customer of the new cost with a relative request for new authorization to proceed;

  13. The limited warranty can be redeemed only after analyzing the damage and only if in possession of the work receipt delivered at the end of the repair;​

  14. Preventive diagnostics are subject to a fixed fee of €30,00.

    1. If the device is declared unrepairable, the customer has the right to collect the object and pay the diagnostic fee, or leave it as a form of payment, thus extinguishing the debt towards RVNR;
    2. if the customer refuses the initial repair estimate, he/she has the right to collect the item and pay the diagnostic fee, or leave it as a form of payment, thus extinguishing the debt towards RVNR;

  15. RVNR reserves the right to apply a daily fee equal to €10.00, for the safekeeping of devices not collected beyond the 10th (tenth) day from completion of the repair and/or preventive diagnostics and notification to the customer, up to a maximum of 1 month, beyond which RVNR considers the object as ABANDONED, therefore no longer the property of the customer, who at this point can dispose of/recycle/sell it and use it as he wishes liking;

  16. RVNR's responsibility for the custody of the devices left behind ceases when the object is shipped or collected;

  17. My personal data will be processed by RVNR according to the code regarding the protection of personal data based on the legislative decree (act having the force of law) of the Italian Republic issued on 30 June 2003, n. 196 and also commonly known as the "single privacy act". Simultaneously with the tacit consent of this release, I authorize RVNR to process my personal data according to the lines of the law of the aforementioned legislative decree;

  18. RVNR undertakes to inform its customers of any results of the analyzes and any repairs to the device. Customers are also aware of both the advantages and possible disadvantages that repairs may have, accepting all relevant risks and relieving RVNR from any type of responsibility in this regard;

  19. Any return shipments of items received for repairs will NOT be covered by INSURANCE. If the customer wishes to have insured shipping, he/she must specify this with appropriate communication.
    To take advantage of shipping insurance, you will need a purchase receipt for the item that can certify its value. Without a valid document or proof of purchase it will not be possible to make a complaint to the carrier. Therefore RVNR is not held responsible for loss or damage to the goods and a refund cannot be requested for any repairs carried out


Warranty terms for repairs


The guarantee for products repaired in our laboratory will be considered valid as long as the guarantee seal is intact and not compromised.

Acceptance of the warranty will be established after having examined the device and its malfunction declared during the assistance phase.

Any shipping costs to deliver the object to our laboratory are always and in any case the responsibility of the owner of the object.

If the warranty request is successfully accepted, all costs for repairs and return shipping will be borne by us.

If the item received under warranty is found to be "non-repairable", the entire cost of the previous repair will be refunded.

The warranty request may not be accepted if the defect found proves to be a new problem completely independent of the previous one, or because there are obvious signs that exclude the warranty.

In this case the customer will be required to pay for the new repair and an estimated repair cost will be estimated which the customer can accept or refuse.

All possible costs for the repair of items excluded from the guarantee are borne by the customer


Service Coverage


Our warranty covers all repairs carried out understood as repairs to electrical circuits.

Any replacement of components such as plastic bodies or metal parts will not be covered by the warranty

Any repairs that conclude with total replacement of the device, due to reasons of "non-repairability" of the old device, with another part (refurbished or used depending on availability and if available), obtain warranty coverage as if it were a normal repair.

Therefore the sales guarantee terms for refurbished or used products do not apply

The availability of replacement items is not guaranteed due to the possible lack of the item itself.


Duration of the Warranty


The warranty is valid for 3 months starting from the date of delivery of the console repaired for problems of the nature of electrical malfunctions, unless otherwise specified.

The warranty is valid for 30 days starting from the date of delivery of the console repaired for problems with components subject to wear e.g. Mechanical HDDs, SSDs, analog sticks, mechanical buttons, optical readers, interface ports (e.g. HDMI port, USB-C port), LCD screens and touch screens, unless otherwise specified

Items that have been returned for normal maintenance have a 30-day limited warranty


Warranty Exclusions


To maintain transparency, it is important to note that the warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused after repair
  • Electric shock damage
  • Damage from water or other liquids
  • Unauthorized repairs carried out by third parties


Terms and Conditions of Sale


Our business offers different types of products for sale

  • Electronic products
  • Spare parts
  • Consumer products

The electronic products sold by our laboratory can be of a "refurbished grade 1", "refurbished grade 2" or "used" nature

“Grade 1 refurbished” items are in used aesthetic condition with scratches and normal signs of use but intact in every part and without serious visible damage. These objects have potentially undergone repairs, are always thoroughly cleaned both inside and outside and are tested in every part to guarantee correct functioning. These products have a 1 year warranty unless otherwise specified

“Grade 2 refurbished” items have strong signs of wear and potentially visible damage such as cracks, breaks or missing parts which however do not compromise their functionality. These objects have potentially undergone repairs, have been cleaned both inside and outside and have been tested in their entirety to ensure correct functioning. These products have a 1 year warranty unless otherwise specified

“Used” objects can be in any aesthetic condition (from very bad to excellent) with potentially strong signs of wear and potentially visible damage such as cracks, breaks or missing parts which however do not compromise their functionality. These objects have not been repaired or cleaned but have been tested in their entirety to guarantee correct functioning. These products have no sales guarantee unless otherwise specified

Spare Parts Products: These products have no sales guarantee unless otherwise specified

Consumable products: These products have no guarantee on sale


Warranty Terms for Sale


The guarantee for products sold by our laboratory will be considered valid as long as the guarantee seal is intact and not compromised.

Acceptance of the guarantee will be established after having examined the device and its malfunction declared during the assistance phase

Any shipping costs to deliver the object to our laboratory are always and in any case the responsibility of the owner of the object.

If the warranty request is successfully accepted, all costs for repairs and return shipping will be borne by us.

If the item received under warranty is found to be "non-repairable", it will be replaced at no additional cost if there is availability. However, a refund will be made if the item cannot be replaced. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • refund for the entire purchase value of the goods if it occurs within the first 30 days.
  • refund decreased by 25% of the initial value after 30 days and before 6 months.
  • refund decreased by 50% of the initial value after 6 months until the end of the warranty year.

The guarantee request may not be accepted due to obvious signs that exclude the guarantee.

In this case the customer will be required to pay for the repair and an estimated repair cost will be estimated which the customer can accept or refuse.

All possible costs for the repair of items excluded from the guarantee are borne by the customer

Items sold that have expired or canceled warranties will not be refunded


Warranty Coverage


Our guarantee covers all malfunctions found on objects understood as defects and malfunctions in electrical circuits and is valid for 1 year starting from the date of sale of the object.

Components such as plastic bodies, metal parts, components subject to wear and spare parts will not be covered by the warranty, unless otherwise specified

Any repairs under warranty will not extend the coverage times of the existing warranty


Warranty Exclusions


To maintain transparency, it is important to note that the warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused by the end user
  • Electric shock damage
  • Damage from water or other liquids
  • Unauthorized repairs carried out by third parties
  • Normal wear of those components categorized as "subject to wear" such as mechanical HDDs, SSDs, analog sticks, mechanical buttons, optical readers, interface ports (e.g. HDMI port, USB-C port) LCD screens and touch screens


Returns


Notice: products marked "For spare parts use only" are excluded from any return rules and sales are final and not refundable or returnable.

Our return policy allows you to return the product within 15 days of purchase. Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any refunds will not include the shipping costs paid during the order, but only the cost of the item

The object must be returned in the original packaging received and in the same conditions as when purchased.

In the event of deficiencies or defects found not declared during the return request, we reserve the right to issue partial refunds at our discretion which will reflect the compensation requested for the defects found which will not be indicated during the assistance phase.

Spare parts and consumables are returnable only and exclusively if still sealed, unused, not installed. Any defect found in these items will void the right to a refund, except in particular cases such as malfunctions or serious aesthetic defects which must be reported promptly to our customer service.


Shippings


Our laboratory provides hand deliveries and collections in our relevant region upon request (variable additional costs apply depending on the destination)

Items sold that require shipping will be shipped with

  • Ordinary shipping: Common and default service for all shipments which DOES NOT include insurance service on the value of the object. The customer is held responsible for the choice of shipping service and agrees, in this case, to waive the reimbursement of the item in the event of loss or damage to the package.
  • Insured shipping: service only upon customer request. Shipments covered by insurance guarantee total or partial reimbursement of the order in the event of loss or damage to the object and package

The responsibility for the object sold by RVNR ends when it has been physically delivered to the carrier or customer.
